2020
Further to its strong progress in distribution and supports, Indotruck Utama became sole importer and distributor for Volvo Construction Equipment and SDLG for all region in Indonesia.
2018
WISEL was appointed as HIAB distributor for their line of products, among others trucks mounted cranes, forestry cranes and grapples.
Also in the same year, WISEL became distributor for Bandit Industries for wood waste handling machineries.
2016
John Deere Company awarded imports and distributor rights to WISEL for its agricultural machineries, industrial, and marine engines.
2014
Through its subsidiaries, Indo Traktor Utama, we were appointed as agent for Mantsinen Group for its material handling equipment in timber-based industry.
WISEL founded Prima Sarana Mustika to provide contracting works for non-mining industry and equipment rentals.
2012
Indo Traktor Utama was incorporated under WISEL as dedicated distributor to take over Renault Trucks, Kalmar, and Manitou brands from Indotruck Utama aimed to better focus on sales and support to customers.
2011
As positive progress on was achieved, Volvo Group entrusted further its Volvo Construction Equipment and SDLG products under WISEL subsidiary, PT Indotruck Utama.
Prima Sarana Gemilang was founded to diversify WISEL business activities into mining contracting as well as to augment its commercial vehicles and heavy equipment distribution business.
2009
With steady growth had been made with Volvo Trucks, Volvo Group awarded distributorship for its other commercial vehicles brand, Renault Trucks to Indotruck Utama. Later on, Renault Trucks distribution was consolidated into other subsidiary, Indo Traktor Utama for better market focus and development.
2006
Developments in commercial vehicles and material handling within Indomobil Group grew substantially so it is considered a proper timing to consolidate them into dedicated sub-holding company, Wahana Inti Selaras.
1998
To further enhance its position in material handling equipment, Indotruck Utama acquired imports and distribution rights for material handling from Manitou Group.
1993
Kalmar selected Indotruck Utama as importer and distributor for Kalmar Container Handling equipment for Indonesia.
1988
Indotruck Utama was established as Indomobil Group subsidiary to improve sales and services of Volvo Trucks across Indonesia outside Kalimantan region.
1984
Indomobil Group appointed Eka Dharma Jaya Sakti as Volvo Trucks distributors for Kalimantan Region to focus better on this emerging heavy-duty market such as logging, mining, construction heavy duty works.
1968-1975
Volvo Group brands had been familiar to Indonesia since 1968 with Volvo Cars models imports. From the commercial vehicles side, Volvo Buses B55 Double Decker was imported in CKD kits and assembled by PT ISMAC, an Indomobil subsidiary for Ministry of Transport acquisition project during 1981 – 1984 for major cities in Indonesia. At quite same time, Volvo Trucks N-Series were imported in Indonesia, mainly to operate in heavy duty works for timber logging sites in Indonesia.
